As-built to an active permit — $195 flat
- Filed as a new permit in the city's portal (OpenGov, Accela, and the rest)
- Scope of work notes "as-built to approved permit #___" — the magic words reviewers look for
- Your new as-built plans uploaded, plus the old approved set attached as reference-only
- Filed same-day, tracked like every other order
- You get the new approved permit to hand the inspector — done
Quoted in writing
As-built to an expired permit — from $395
Expired means the old plans are unstamped — the city treats it as a full new submittal. We quote it in writing before anything files, same as every job. No surprises.
How it works
- Send us three things: the old permit number, the city, and your as-built PDFs — plus the old approved plans if you have them.
- We file it right. New permit application, scope of work referencing the approved permit number, as-builts in front, old set as reference behind.
- You get notified. The moment it's submitted — and again when it's approved. Download the new permit for your next inspection.
Works for any trade — electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm, sprinklers, building. If the field changed it, we can permit it.
Attach your as-built PDFs to the email. City fees (if any) are separate and always at cost.
