What this covers
- Re-pipes and new water lines
- Fixture work — water closets, lavatories, tubs, showers, kitchen and laundry
- Water and sewer service line work
- Added bathrooms and laundry rooms, filed in the plans class they belong to
How it works
- Talk to Tony — tell him the address and the scope. Two minutes, from the job site.
- We prepare and file the application through PermitSF, the city's portal.
- City fees pass through at cost — you see them before anything is filed.
- When the permit issues, we line up the inspection — the sequencing is on us to track, not you.
Good to know in San Francisco
- In San Francisco, plumbing is its own permit — filed separately from mechanical, every time.
- Gas line work files under its own permit line in SF. We flag it — never fold it silently into the plumbing filing.
- Only owners of stand-alone single-family homes may apply for their own plumbing permit, with a Permit Center help-desk visit shortly after applying. Everyone else files through a licensed contractor.
Who uses this
Licensed C-36 plumbing contractors who would rather be on the tools than in a portal, property managers running plumbing work across buildings, and homeowners hiring it done right.

Talk to TonyPermitsPros — we file permits. We never promise approvals — that's the city's call, and we tell you so up front. City fees are separate and paid by you directly to the city.
